This type of breathwork is a powerful tool for healing, personal growth and self exploration. It has many benefits and leads to personal transformation, spiritual awakening, mental clarity and relaxation. It helps you to release any kind of emotional blockages and heal the wounds of unresolved trauma (birth trauma, childhood trauma, accident, etc.). You might get insights and answers about your life and access a higher state of consciousness, improving relationships with friends and family, managing emotions more effectively and freeing yourself from addictions. Beyond that, with conscious connected breathwork you can overcome any kind of pain, diseases or physical symptoms by releasing repressed emotions, chemicals and toxins. Breathwork thus also helps to heal physical symptoms and diseases, such as headaches and migraines, chronic cold & flu, back pain, asthma & epilepsy, heart issues and weight problems.

What you can expect:

After an extensive introduction, where I will explain the breathing technique and what you can expect during the session, we will set an intention for the session. After a short releasing exercise I be guiding you through a short meditation, and then you will be actively breathing for around 45 minutes, guided by carefully selected evocative music. After the "peak" of the active breathing we will be moving into a phase of emotional release, integration and relaxation, which takes about another 30 - 40 minutes. So, the total duration of the breathing experience will be around 1 hour and 30 minutes.  I will hold loving space for you during the whole session, providing phyiscal and emotional support by healing touch. At the end of the session there will be time to do some journaling and share your experience with the group. We will leave the session in a grounded and energized state.

How to prepare for the session:

*Have your last meal at least 2 hours before the event (eat lightly, not a heavy meal), avoid coffee if possible

*Bring or wear some comfortable, light clothes

*Have in mind the intentions why you want to do this session (heal something in our past, accomplish something, etc)

*Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, water, pen & paper will be provided

*Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the event starts

*The Avitar yoga studio is on the second floor to the left
